Is buying online safe?

Yes. Just remember to approach buying online with the same common sense you use when shopping at traditional, brick-and-mortar stores. Some good guidelines to follow:

  • Purchase from well-established companies. Even if the website is new, it should tell you how long the company has existed. Just as you prefer to shop with trusted names in your local community, you'll be most satisfied if you spend your online dollars with companies that have significant business histories.
  • Look for a straightforward return policy and a warranty. Because you can't touch the merchandise before you buy, you should be allowed to return any purchase that doesn't meet your expectations. The website's return policy should be posted and easy to follow. Additionally, a warranty or manufacturer's guarantee is useful for items like jewelry and electronics.
  • Make sure the site provides customer service contact information. You should be able to reach the company by phone and email.
  • The site should give you shipping information, including the carrier who will be handling your package and the estimated shipping date. 

Why should I buy online?

As long as you're following the guidelines above, online shopping gives you the most choice and convenience, and it's a great step forward for consumers. Any time the customer and the manufacturer can interact directly, consumers get more control over the shopping experience.

The Internet also gives smaller businesses a means to distribute to customers that used to be out-of-reach. This means we all have access to a more diverse range of products-- everything from nail polish to heirloom tomatoes.

When I purchase something from Zina Beverly Hills, how quickly can I get it?

Most of the merchandise you see online is in stock, and as long as we have your item in our inventory, we'll ship it within 1-5 business days. If the merchandise is not in stock, we will require a little more time to get it to you.

You will be given a shipping estimate as you check out.  Look for it on the bottom left quadrant of the checkout screen.  If the merchandise is not in stock, the message will appear in red.

What are my shipping options?

You can choose UPS Ground, UPS 2nd Day, UPS 3 Day Select, or UPS Overnight.  Please be aware that UPS Overnight provides delivery on the following business day.  This means that if your order ships Overnight on a Friday, delivery is scheduled for Monday. 

When the item ships to you, you will receive an email with the tracking number.

If I see something I want online, can I purchase it at the Zina retail store in Beverly Hills? 

ZinaBeverlyHills.com features much of the same merchandise that you will find at our Beverly Hills retail location.  However, the Specials and sale merchandise you see online are priced exclusively for the website.  These sale prices reflect the lower cost of business associated with our e-commerce division and cannot be matched in the retail store.  Although similar items may be available for in store purchase, the sale prices are available exclusively for customers who purchase online.   

Can Zina Beverly Hills ship to a Canadian address? 

Yes, we are delighted to ship to our Canadian customers.  If you enter a Canadian shipping address, you will receive a message that lets you know we will contact you to arrange shipping.  Once we've processed your order, we will email you regarding shipping.

Please be aware that once your package reaches Canadian Customs, you will be required to pay any applicable import duties on your purchase. 

Will I pay sales tax if I ship within the U.S.?

We will collect sales tax on any items shipped within the state of California. For items shipped to any U.S. address outside California, we will not collect sales tax. 

How will my purchase be packaged?  And can I have it gift wrapped and get a gift receipt?   

All Zina jewelry will come with our signature Zina pouch. 

You may indicate any gift items in the Notes box of the checkout screen.  Please tell us which items are gifts so that we may wrap them.  Additionally, we will include gift receipts for these items.  We will only wrap and include gift receipts for the items you identify as gifts. 

The beneficiary of a ZinaBeverlyHills.com gift has the option of exchanging it for other Zina merchandise within 30 days of the delivery date.  Please note that an exchange is only possible when the merchandise is accompanied by a gift receipt or the original invoice.  For more information, please see our Policies.       

What's your return policy?

Your happiness is our top priority. If you are unsatisfied with this purchase, please feel free to return it.

  • Within 10 days of your delivery date, return to us for a full refund of your purchase price. The item must be unaltered and undamaged to be eligible for this refund.
  • Within 30 days of your delivery date, return to us for a credit of your purchase amount, minus a 15% restocking fee. The item must be unaltered and undamaged to be eligible for this credit.
  • No returns will be accepted after 30 days from your delivery date.

Please note that you must call and receive a Return Authorization code before returning any online purchase. Anytime you return an item you purchased online, you must have a Return Authorization code.

How durable is silver jewelry? 

Sterling silver jewelry is both versatile and durable, but like everything it requires some maintenance.  To keep your jewelry in top condition, remember the following guidelines:

Remove your jewelry before showering or engaging in physical activities. 

Do not apply body lotion, hair spray, sunscreen, or perfume while wearing your jewelry. 

How do I clean my Zina sterling jewelry? 

All sterling jewelry will tarnish over time.  This is a natural reaction that occurs between silver and oxygen and is no cause for concern.  Some tips for removing tarnish:

Keep a silver polishing cloth on hand for easy touch-ups.  This cloth is treated with a tarnish remover, and a quick buff with the cloth will restore your jewelry’s shine.

Gently wash your sterling jewelry with diluted dishwashing liquid.  Rinse thoroughly and polish with a soft cloth.  In order to prevent residual water stains, dry your jewelry thoroughly before you store it.

Silver dips may be used on sterling silver (not silver-plate) as long as the jewelry is not set with gemstones, turquoise, or onyx.  Always rinse your jewelry thoroughly after using a silver dip, and dry it with a soft cloth.  While silver dip provides an instantaneous touch-up, it is not recommended on a frequent basis.
